Founded in 1968, the Claneil Foundation is a private foundation located in the Philadelphia region that seeks to improve the health of families and communities through advancements in health and human services, a sustainable food system, education and the protection of the environment.  The Foundation provides general operating and program support grants locally, and awards seed funding to emerging projects and organizations that have the potential for significant impact in the Philadelphia region as well as other geographic areas.  To learn more about the Foundation’s grantmaking programs, please visit the What We Fund section of this web site.
