From time to time, the Foundation proactively identifies and awards funding for critical initiatives and innovative projects through its Proactive Grant Program.

By providing substantial financial support over a sustained period of time, this grantmaking strategy is designed to advance knowledge, test a new theory or solution, and draw attention to a hidden problem. The Foundation does not accept unsolicited requests in this funding program.
